Original Lesson Plan
Revised Lesson Plan using the TIP Model

The Technology Integration Planning (TIP) model played a pivotal role in amending my lesson plan by offering a structured approach to embedding digital tools into instructional practice and creating a lesson which captures diverse learners needs. A significant change i made to my original plan was outlining lesson intentions in the Canva presentation to ensure retention of engagement as there are less movements between tasks and learning is captured on the one platform. The use of Google Classroom was also integrated to make learning more collaborative and accessible. Changing activities from paper based to digital (Mind Mapping Activity / Revision quiz) would likely improve the simplistic nature of the tasks as they are time effective. Another key benefit is immediate feedback and guidance. Students have less worry about designing logical plans and can use existing templates to document their learning. The TIP Model successfully promotes critical thinking, inclusivity, and collaborative learning, while also emphasizing the importance of continuous professional development and improvement (Roblyer, M. D. Doering, A, H. 2014). The inclusion of game play was also made possible due to digital tools like Blooket and Kahoot where inclusivity and group work is valued. Voogt et al. (2015) further argues that meaningful integration of digital learning, involves cultivating a supportive classroom culture that transforms pedagogical styles and fosters student agency. A combination of student, teacher led and collaborative learning is evident and made possible due to the range of digital tools accessed.
